Jalandhar 25 October (Jaswinder Azad)- D.A.V College’s magazine of the year "The Ravi 2016" was released by Shri KD Bhandari who was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. On this occasion, Principal Dr. B B Sharma, Vice Principal Prof. VK Sareen, SSP Kulwinder Singh Thiyar, Mr Gurdeep Nagra, Mr. Rajinder Nagra, the magazine's Chief editor Prof. Rajeev Puri, Prof. Parul Shaire, Prof. Ruchika, Prof. Dr. Pradeep and from D.A.V Press Club’ Madhur Chopra were present. "The Ravi" magazine contains a description of college programs throughout the year. The launch ceremony was conducted by Dr Pradeep Kaur.
At the launch ceremony, Principal Dr. BB Sharma said "Ravi" is our treasure. Everyone should be striving for it.The Magazine is dedicated towards achievements of the College. Journal of College and conductor of the glorious history of the nutrient is present in this magazine. Ravi magazine is a tradition of DAV Jalandhar that runs from 1918 and articles written by teachers and students make me very happy, and I am sure that this tradition will be followed in the future too. I heartily congratulate Editor in chief Prof. Rajeev Puri, Editors of all the sections, Associate editors and student editors who worked day and night on this magazine which is reflecting in this magazine. "
Magazine editor in chief, Prof. Rajeev Puri said total 9 sections are present in the magazine, in which Commerce Section, Computer Science Section, the English section, section Sanskrit, Punjabi section, Hindi section, Social Science Section, Science Section, Physical Education Section, Journalism Section , NCC and NSS wing exist. all the achievements of the college has been mentioned in the magazine.
