Jalandhar 25 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan celebrated its Sports Day ‘OLYMPICS-2017’ with great zeal and fervour. All the students, especially the participants were really excited about the event. The celebrations began with a warm welcome of the chief guest followed by many events like 100 mts race, 200 mts race, sack race, volley ball, cricket, all girls and boys played with the spirit of sportsmanship and unity. The participants presented impressive and mind blowing performances and entertained the audience. The overall winner remains the Hotel Management Department.
Inspiring words by Group Director Dr. Shailesh Tripathi, were shared, highlighting the need for more such tournaments to raise the standard of sport in the country, while creating more opportunities for youngsters to strive for excellence in sports. He also said that the focus of IHGI is to identify inherent qualities of the students and encourage them to learn.
