Eklavya School Celebrated Indian Air Force Day

Jalandhar 8 October (Jaswinder Azad)- The Indian Air Force is the air arm of the Indian armed forces. It is the world's fourth largest air force. Its primary responsibility is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct aerial warfare during a conflict. It was officially established on 8 October. Eklavya School celebrated Indian Air Force Day. Students drew the Logo of Indian Air Force and got to know about different features of it. They were told that the Motto of Indian Air Force has been taken from eleventh chapter of the Gita, the Discourse given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra during the Great War of Mahabharata. The Lord is showing His Supreme Divine form to Arjuna and the great form of the Lord is reaching the sky with glory, evoking fear and loss of self-control in the mind of Arjuna.The Indian Air Force, similarly, aims to overwhelm the adversaries with application of aerospace power in defence of the nation. They were also shown a video related to Indian Air force. The school Director Ms. Seema Handa, Manager Ms. Sapna Bakshi & Principal Ms. Dimpal Said that celebrating & giving knowledge about these events make the students aware more about their country & instill the value of Patriotism in them.
