Jalandhar 4 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Youth festival Department of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar had organized "D-Zone" the zonal youth festival which accured at Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala on dated 26/9/2016 to 29/9/2016. The participation of GNBL Ramgarhia College for Women, Phagwara played a significant role, as the college got second position in B-division. The college students took participation in Folk Song, Fancy dress, Mimicry, Collage, Clay Modeling, Mime, Skit, Poster Making,Phulkari, Rangoli and showed their best skills. In the competition Miss Sneh B.Sc.Eco.(Sem-V) got first position in Fancy dress and Miss Shivani BA(Sem-V) got first position in Mimicry. Miss Sunaina Kalley BBA (Sem-III) in Clay Modeling and the student of Mime got second position. Miss Pooja BASem-V) in Poster Making, Miss Megha B.Com.Prof. (Sem-V) in Collage and the students of skit got third position and through all these achievements and awards honored the name of College and Management.
The great achievements of the students has been appreciated and cheered by S.Bharpur Sing Ji Bhogal Chairman of REC, Phagwara. The students who got first position has been awarded by Director Madam Vyoma Bhogal Dhatt. The Principal Dr.Mrs.Rupinderijt Kaur has blessed the students where Dr.Mrs.Shuchi Rai Bhatt Lect.In H.Sci, Miss Alka Lect.In Pbi, Miss Gurpreet Kaur Lect.In Compt.Sci & Miss Jaspreet Kaur Lect.In Eco. etc. were present. These great achievements being happiness among Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff and the students of the College.
