Jalandhar 30 October (Jaswinder Azad)- An exhibition-cum-sale named 'Diwali Fiesta' was organized by Fashion Designing, Home Science, Bachelor of Design & Fine Arts department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar on the auspicious festival of lights, Deepawali. Students showcased their creativity by creating various decorative and innovative items displayed on different stalls. Exclusive range of decoration pieces and handicrafts including candles, diyas, torans, wall hangings, best out of waste material and other fashion accessories were displayed by F.D. students for sale. Students of B.D. & Fine Arts dept. also presented a vast collection of home furnishing items and other decorative items. Home Science dept. made delicious eatable items including sprouts chat, idli, golgappas & chocolates. All the faculty members were present during this exhibition. Faculty members and students from all classes visited and purchased various items. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen visited and appreciated the initiative with kind words. Teachers from FD & H.Sc. including Mrs. Neeti Sood, Ms. Shama Sharma, Mrs. Cheena Gupta, Dr. Rakhi Mehta, Mrs. Navneeta, Ms. Tanisha, Beenu, Surbhi, Deepika, Priya, Isha, Shallu, Rishav, Lalita and Kiran were presented during the exhibition.
