Jalandhar 20 February (Jaswinder Azad)- The talented buds of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar represented Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar at National Youth Festival held at Ranchi from 16th February to 20th February, 2018 and once again brought laurels to the institution with their exemplary performances. The untiring efforts of the college students won them the overall champion trophy of National Youth Festival along with Individual trophies of Music and Fine Arts. College students represented university in 14 items out of which they grabbed first position in 10 items, second position in 02 items and third position in 02 items. Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu expressed his ecstasy at this glorious achievement and congratulated college Principal and students as their hard work has yielded fruitful results.
An elated Principal Dr. Sucharita complemented the accomplishment of the team and said that the glorious achievement has added yet another feather to the glittering cap of Apeejay. She specially acknowledged the contribution of Apeejay’s alumnus Anadi Mishra who had composed the musical items and was totally committed to groom the music students to perfection. She said that hard work always pays and our students had done their institution and Guru Nanak Dev University proud by carrying forward Apeejay’s supreme legacy in the cultural filed.
