Jalandhar 1 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Home Science and Fashion Designing departments of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized Nutrition Fiesta. Students from different streams participated n the competition. The topic for salad making, slogan writing and poster making were obesity, junk food and anemia. The winners of poster making were Kanupriya first, Simranjot second, Mohini third. The winners of slogan writing were Gurkirat first, Shweta second and Snaju third. In salad making Aashmeet and Balpreet received first prize, Chetna Mehak got second prize, Pallavi Abha secured third prize. The event was judged by the worthy judges Dr. Nidhi Kochhar, Dr. Rakhi Mehta and Dr. Seema Marwaha. Students and faculty members were very well appreciated by Principal Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. She addressed the students as creative all rounders, who are not only good at academic growth but have all traits to become best home makers. She encouraged the students by distributing prizes to the winners. Mrs. Neety Sood, Head Home Sc. Deptt., Mrs. Cheena, Mrs. Navneeta, Ms. Beenu, Ms. Shallub, Ms. Surbhi, Ms. Miglani and other members of the faculty were also present during the event.
