Jalandhar 1 October (Jaswinder Azad)- ‘Skills Villa 2016’ was organised at Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus under Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC). The event was organised to hone the entrepreneurial skills of the students. 115 students from MBA, BBA, BCom, BCA and MCA participated in the competition. Students were judged on the basis of Revenue Generated and Taste of the dishes prepared by them. Total Revenue generated by the students was more than Rs.10,000.
23 stalls were organised by the students with dishes of diverse tastes ranging from North Indian to South Indian and Chinese to Italian. Various lip-smacking dishes prepared by the students were Ice Candies, Italian Pasta, Chocolate Logs, Squash, Dhokla, Chocolate Pan, Mini south Indian Corner and many more. Apart from this, there were games like Separation Anxiety, Lucky Seven, Shoot the Balloon and Dart which raised the excitement level of the students and the faculty.
In results, On the basis of Taste, Twinkle and Anisha of MBA I B, got Prize for Khatta Chaat and Aam Papar. Priyanka and Team of MBA I A, were awarded second Prize for Chocolate Paan.
On the basis of Revenue Generation , Gazal Gupta of MBA I C and her team of stood First for generating total revenue of Rs. 2730 for Pudding. Ramanjot Kaur and her team stood second for generating a revenue of Rs. 2420 for Chocolate Logs. Director, Dr. Rajesh Bagga congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts put in by the students.
