N.S.S unit of D.A.V College Jalandhar organised an one day special camp

Jalandhar 17 October (Jaswinder Azad)- N.S.S unit of D.A.V College Jalandhar organised an one day special camp, in which "100" N.S.S volunteers of the college took part. Volunteers cleaned both the parks outside the college,garden area and parking along with trimming the trees and also painted them white.Students volunteering in the one day special camp also took an oath to always keep their surrounding clean and help India to attain the goal of 'Swach Bharat'.
Principal Dr B.B.Sharma praised the whole N.S.S unit for the steps taken by them. Principal Sharma said that"just like the cleaniness kept in foreign countries is their own citizen choice,if we as Indians,do the same for our own country we can also attain the Swach Bharat mission soon". Camp Co-ordinator Prof S.K.Midha shared his veiws with the volunteers by saying that college need those students, who are patrotic to the very core of their heart,  because of which you students, where able to complete  this important work without any shame or hesitation.We also should keep  emphasizing on the social work in our day to day life. The one day special N.S.S camp also had fun and interesting cultural session,which volunteers enjoyed alot. Prof Kawaljeet Singh, Prof Rajan Sharma, Prof Sanjay Sharma, Prof Meenu Talwar, Prof Gagandeep Kaur and Prof Pradeep Kaur were also present during the camp.
