Computer Science department of DAV College spent a day with Special (disabled) children.

Jalandhar 21 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Students of Computer Science Deptt along with their teachers went to Model Town located Mother Tereesa Ashram of Missionary charity students for special needs. Its a remarkable thing to know this institute for special children is working since 1983. HOD Computer Science Dept Dr Nishchay Behl, Prof Monica Chopra and Laekha Jindal distributed pastries to 42 students studying in the institution. Teachers of our college mentioned that our society should provide love and support to these special children so they can learn live independently in their life.It is also important to help them confident both mentally and physicaly. On this occation a cake was cut. It is a shame that people don't consider these children as part of society. But DAV college just made an example by making this trip to our instition that their will be better days for our disabled children. Principal Dr SK Arora also asked the rest of the college students to come forward and help these kids and also promised that DAV College will help them whenever they need it.
