Personality Development Courses commences at KMV

Jalandhar 10 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalay-the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar started the first batch of school for Personality Development for the UG and PG Classes.  More than 70 students get themselves registered for this 21 day programme.  Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi inaugurated the session with her path breaking lecture on positive thinking as to how it helps in the generation of a good personality.  Citing the examples from her experiences, she encouraged the students to adopt a positive way of looking at things as positivity helps in goal accomplishment.  A positive outlook leads to the great amount of energy that one requires for any task, she proposed Mrs. Satinder Kaur, Co-ordinator gave a brief introduction about the school, its aims and objective.
The programme will cover a variety of aspects comprising various Resource Persons that benefitted the participants to a great deal.  Dr. Poornima and Dr. Deepika Anand will speak on Public Speaking and Anger Management respectively.  Ms. Ashoo Bajaj will make the students aware of the importance of Physical Fitness.  Ms. Vanila, Ms. Neeti Kapoor and Ms. Mani will touch the topics like Resume Writing, Table Manners and Wardrobe Planning.  Ms. Seema Jain, Head, PG Department of English, KMV will focus on the Correct Pronunciation of English Words. Dr. Madhumeet will make a presentation on a very pertinent topic ‘Interview Skill’. Giving importance to the psychology and needs of young minds Dr. Updesh Kaur and Mrs. Neetu will deliver their lectures on Problem Solving Skills and Science and Superstitions, whereas sensitive issues like Thought Management, Positive Personality through Interpersonal Skills, Stress Management will be addressed by Dr. Radhika, Dr. Priyanka, Ms. Surabhi.  
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated all the Resource Persons and students for being a part of such programme.  She averred that the certificate course in Personality Development will go a long way in bringing about the holistic development of young learners.
