Jalandhar 3 October (Jaswinder Azad)- To spread awareness against Drug Abuse, the Youth Club of Lyallpur Khalsa College organized Poster Making and Cartooning competition in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club in which over 70 students participated. Speaking on the occasion the college Principal Dr G.S. Samra urged the students to spread awareness for the eradication of this social evil and advised them to get themselves engaged in creative and recreational activities to keep away the menace of drugs. Prof. Jasreen Kaur, Dr. S.S. Bains and Prof. Amanjot Kaur acted as judges for the events. The vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Tarsem Singh, the incharge of the College Youth Club. The first, second and third position were won by Parneet Kaur, Eshani Kakar and Shyam respectively. The occasion was witnessed by the presence of senior teachers, the members of the college Youth Club and students in large numbers.
