Jalandhar 23 December (Jaswinder Azad)- Apeejay school, Tanda Road Branch, jalandhar celebrated Annual Prize distribution Function, “REFLECTIONS” a cultural programme in the school premises on 22nd December, 2016. The Principal of school Ms. Meera Javed, Vice Principal Mr. Girish Kumar and the Headmistress Mrs. Arshiya Badalia graced the occasion with their benign presence. The chief guest of the day Mr. Rajiv Verma (SDM JAL II) lighted the ceremonial lamp and the how began. In the very beginning, the blessings of the almighty was sought in the form of Ganesh Vandana. The little Apeejayites showcased their talent through enactment and dance performance. Apart from that English and Hindi play, Chirayia dance, skating, dance showing principles of Budha and the famous folk dance of Punjab Bhangra mesmerized the audience. Afterwards the chief guest gave away the prizes to the meritorious children. Bakul Gupta of class VIII was honoured for scoring 10 CGPA. At the end, the chief guest addressed the august gathering and encouraged the children to work hard and follow the path of truth in life. The Principal Ms. Meera Javed thanked the audience for their timely support and cooperation.
