Jalandhar 15 December (Jaswinder Azad)- 30 students from the department of Physiotherapy of Apeejay College of Fine Arts; one of the most renowned institutions of northern India participated in the 5th International Conference on Physical Therapy held at AIIMS. During this two day conference, students not only learned the new and advanced techniques in the realm of Physiotherapy but also enthusiastically participated in various competitions held there. Dr. Neeraj Katyal, Dr. Pomila Chopra and Dr. Preeti Mattu, from the Department of Physiotherapy chaired the Scientific Sessions. It was a matter of immense pride for thr institution to participate in such an Endeavour organized by AIIMs.
Principal, Dr. Sucharita Sharma appreciated the efforts of the physiotherapy department and said that the institution is continuously striving to provide such platforms where the students and the faculty members could enrich themselves. Madam Sucharita applauded the winners and said that the college strives to make continuous efforts for the holistic development of the students.
The results of the Conference are as follows:
Deeksha Kaur Bagged 1st prize in drawing and 3rd prize in Theme Based Rangoli Making.
Rishabdeep Chawla bagged 2nd prize in ‘New Innovations in Physiotherapy’ and Essay Writing Competition. Anamika Sharma bagged 2nd prize in Solo Dancing Competition.
1st Prize in Group Dance:
Simratpal, Harmanpreet, Amandeep, Prabhjot, Osheen, Jasneef, Nirapjit, Jagroop, Inderpreet, Sukhpreet, Deeksha and Anamika.
