Jalandhar 15 December (Jaswinder Azad)- Yes, there’s a day dedicated to tea! International Tea Day has been celebrated on December 15 for more than a decade in tea producing countries like India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal among others. We, CT Group of Institutions also celebrated the event by serving warm tea to the street vendors and workers to give them the warmth in this chilly weather.
Dr. Rohit Sarin (Director, CT Institute of Hotel Management) said, “Not just youngsters, but people of all age groups enjoy tea and it’s also a healthier option. Tea is a daily affair in every home and since we are provided it with different options for flavours, people were more than happy about it while having a sip of tea and feeling the warmth.“
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) said that commemoration of such events is very important to bind a grip between among one another in the society. It gives positive and warmth vibes.
