Patiala, January 23 (Jaswinder Azad)- Patiala MLA Preneet Kaur has accused the Akali-BJP government of destroying Punjab and leaving its people struggling with all kinds of problems. Addressing an election meeting organised by Shailendra Monty, Patiala Congress (Urban) general secretary, Preneet said that people in every village and city of Punjab were struggling to survive as a result of the anti-people-policies of the Badal government, which had become synonymous with corruption. Preneet pointed out that thousands of industrial units had closed or migrated to other states due to the wrong policies of the Akali government. She further said that unemployment had left the youth in a lurch, making them easy prey for the drug mafia. Preneet also said that the figures of the development presented by the Akali government were fudged and far from reality. "People from every section of the society are completely disillusioned with the present government and only want to see Punjab on the path of progress again under Captain Amarinder Singh led Congress government", she told the gathering.
