Patiala, January 16 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- BJP suffered a major setback in Patiala with two of its key leaders along with their supporters joining Congress. Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha patiala president and vice-president Charanjit Singh Mangi and Meeta Samana joined Congress in presence of Patiala MLA Preneet Kaur. Welcoming the leaders in Congress, Preneet said that Congress would surely emerge victorious in the Punjab elections. Mangi and Samana said that because of the hardships being faced by the people on account of demonetisation and alleged corrupt practices in BJP, they decided to quit. Both the leaders assured Preneet that they will work hard to strengthen Congress. They also announced to aggressively campaign for the Congress candidates in the Patiala district.
