Jalandhar 17 January (Jaswinder Azad)- In an endeavor to boost the Voter Awareness Campaign in the region, today St. Soldier Group of Institutions in Collaboration with District Administration Jalandhar and District Education Office (Se.) Jalandhar unveiled the Voter Awareness cum Career Counseling Poster information for the young voters. The Voter Awareness cum Career Counseling Poster unveiled by the District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar Kamal Kishore Yadav in the presence of Prof. ManharArora, Managing Director St.Soldier Group of Institutions, Surjit Lal, District Career Guidance Counselor, Haravtar Singh Director Career Counseling St. Soldier Group of Institution, Ajay Sharma.
While speaking at the occasion Kamal Kishore Yadav said “It is a unique initiative by the District Administration and St. Soldier Group of Institutions to encourage young voters to cast their votes in the coming legislative assembly elections. Through this poster youth will have the opportunity to know about various career options and at the same time they will know their right to select their electoral candidate.
Prof Manhar Arora told that we are thankful to District Administration and District Education Office (Se.)for giving St. Soldier Group of Institution and opportunity to contribute in the Voter Awareness campaign. This poster will be installed in schools, colleges and locations where students visit frequently. The poster has information about the career options after matric and after ten plus two while appealing young voters to cast their votes. Whilst understanding our responsibility as an education provider we shall run more campaign for Voter Awareness so that each individual can come out of their homes and cast their votes on the election day.
