Jalandhar 6 January (Jaswinder Azad)- Discovering and Developing newer and brighter way for women employment and evolving a better society is a daily effort at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar had organized a “Free Jagriti Winter Camp” at KMV from 19 Dec, 2016 to 6 Jan, 2017. In this 18 days social outreach programme, about 315 students participated in six different courses like Cookery Classes, Stitching & Painting, Script Writing, Personality Development, Computer & Mobile Learning and Health Check up and Yoga which were taught by respective teachers. This camp was free for all the women and girls of the region. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi said that this camp proud to be very beneficial for all women. Students learned many things like developing animated cartooning using Photoshop, healthy dishes, script writing, stitching & painting and learned computers by using latest softwares. Madam Principal said that one must take the New Year resolution of being skilled and this camp will serve as a golden opportunity for all in the coming year 2017.
