Talent Hunt Organized in Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus by Videocon Telecom and Connect Broadband

Jalandhar 4 January (Jaswinder Azad)- A talent hunt was organised by Videocon Telecom and Connect Broadband in Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus.The students of MBA , MCA, BBA, BCA  and BCom (Professional)participated in the event. The students showcased their prowess in singing, dancing and acting. All the contestants mesmerized the audience with their spectacular performances.  Mr. Amit Arora, Marketing Executive, Videocon Telecom and Mr. Amanpratap Singh, Assistant Professor in Computer Applications werethe judges for the event.
The highlight for the show was a thought provoking and hilarious skit performed by the students of MBA II. It was based on the exiquite theme that beauty is not skin’s deep. The students competed in various categories like singing, dancing, and acting, The students were judged on the basis of their confidence, zeal and competence. Sanjay of MBA II won accolades for his commendable mono acting.
Shifali Dogra of MBA II was adjudged Best Dancer. Divya Sharma of MBA IV,  Harsimran of BCOM II and Sachin of BCA IV won first and second position in singing. The students who won prizes for their outstanding acting include: Gopal, Komal Chitkara, Sanjay Kumar, Rishabh Sehgal and Omesh Dua of MBA II and Preety of MCA IV. The winners have been shortlisted for City Finale to be held soon. All the prize winners were awarded Certificate of Appreciation by dignitaries present from Videocon Telecom and Connect Broadband.
The students also participated in many fun-filled activities and games. RJ Dheer from 94.3 FM and Mr. Kuljit from Videocon brought the auditorium to life by their wit, spontaneity and enthusiasm. 
Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus expressed that such competitions are aimed at enabling students showcase their talent to the world. They help in all round development of students. Dr. Bagga congratulated all the participants and prize winners. He also conveyed his best wishes to the students for City Finale. He expressed, “The students of Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus are bound to win hearts and accolades for their performances and potential in City Finale as well.”
