Jalandhar 22 February (Gurkirat Singh)- The students of Punjabi department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya participated in Mother Language Chetna Rally organized by Punjabi Jagriti Manch, as per the directions of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. This rally is being organized every year and it is related to International Mother Language Day. In this rally, the students participated enthusiastically under the guidance of HOD Punjabi Mrs. Kawaljit Kaur. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen encouraged the students to work for mother language. She said that only that society can prosper whose roots are deep in mother language and culture. HOD Punjabi Mrs. Kawaljit Kaur gave her best wishes to the students and encouraged them to read literature in mother language. This is worth mentioning that every year, this rally is being organized on 21st February and students of HMV participate in it. Mrs. Kuljeet Kaur, Mrs. Navroop, Mrs. Veena Arora and Ms. Prabhjot Kaur also gave their best wishes to the students. Ms. Sukhwinder Kaur and Ms. Harmanpreet Kaur also participated in this rally.
