CT Institute wins IKG PTU Inter College Cricket Tournament

  • IKG PTU affiliated 17 colleges participated in the tournament
  • RBI EMT, Hoshiarpur loses the final match by 10 wickets
Jalandhar 22 February (Gurkirat Singh)- CT Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology (CTIEMT) won the IKG PTU Inter College Cricket Tournament in Zone-C by 10 wickets against Ryat Bahra Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology (RBI EMT), Hoshiarpur on Wednesday. The tournament was orgnaised at CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus in which more than 17 IKG PTU affiliated colleges participated. In the final match, CTIEMT won the toss and choose to ball first. RBI EMT scored 129 runs in 25 overs in which Makhan scored highest 38 runs, Abhishek 22 runs and Jaskaran scored 27 runs. From CTIEMT team, Jasmeet took three and Munna took two wickets. While chasing the target, CTIEMT finished the game in 15 overs and won the match by 10 wickets. Aadil scored 53 runs in 32 balls while Atul scored 51 runs 41 balls. While presenting the prizes to the winners, S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) andMr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) congratulated them and applauded the dedication of the coaches & their teams for their excellent performance. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) and urged all the students to participate in sports for their overall growth and personality development.
