Jalandhar 30 March (Jaswinder Azad)- The Dept. of Fashion Makeover of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized a one day workshop on contemporary Make Up and Hair Styling. In this workshop, Mr. Dev Thakur, renowned Bollywood Make Up artist comprehended diverse styles of putting make up and making hair styles as the resource person. He took two students of the college and demonstrated the minute details of applying products and their after effects. He practically illustrated the microscopic details required to use make up according to dress materials in day to day life or before performing on the stage. While interacting with the students, he satisfied the curious queries of the students. Principal Dr. Sucharita highly commended the knowledge shared by Mr. Dev Thakur and said in this era of beautification, everyone wants to present himself or herself in a better way. The urge to look younger has became a part and parcel of life. He further appreciated the efforts of Ms. Meenal Sandhu for successfully conducting this workshop as it paves the way for aspiring students to learn the basics required to be a successful Make-up Artist.
