GNDU College Jalandhar conducted convocation for the 2015-16 pass out students

Jalandhar 4 March (Jaswinder Azad)- Guru Nanak Dev University College, Ladowali road, Jalandhar conducted convocation for the 2015-16 pass out students of MBA(2 year), MBA(5 year), MCA,(3 year), M.Com, M.Sc. Mathematics, BBA, BCA, B.Com and B.Com Professional. Dr. Navdeep Singh Tung, Dean Academic Affairs’ was the chief guest for theconvocation. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh Randhawa congratulated the students on this occasion and also motivated and suggested them to be good citizens of the country. He emphasized on the fact that education is an essential part to lead a respectful life. An educated individual plays a crucial part in facilitating a nation towards prosperity. Educational institutions let educated individuals present their views without any hesitation and biasness. Dr. Randhawa reminded all that we live in the world’s largest democracy and our constitution gives us the Right to Expression, and if this is taken from us at any point, it will prove dangerous for the unity and wholeness of the country. He also made us aware about the college’s activities of the past year. Dr. Tung, the chief guest of the occasion, emphasised the importance of creativity and independent thinking, catered by the educational institutions. He also focused on the Right to Expression; it should be made an important agenda by institutional heads which would further enhance the personalities of individuals. The convocation commenced with the Guru Gobind Singh’s hymn, “Deh Shiva bar Mohe”and closed with the national anthem.
