CTIHM conferred with “Excellent Hotel Management Institute in Punjab”

  • The institute won the recognition in 2nd National Punjab Summit & Awards 2017 organized by the Department of MNRE (GOI), Department of MSME (GOI) and AICTE.
  • Dr. Rohit Sarin (Chairman of Hotel Management Board of Studies by IKG PTU and Director, CTIHM) won the Excellent Principal for Hotel Management Institute in Punjab.
Jalandhar 22 April (Jaswinder Azad)- Aspiring to great heights, CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM) added another feather to its cap by winning “Excellent Hotel Management Institute in Punjab” for being a best Hotel Management Institute in the region. CTIHM won recognition in 2nd National Punjab Summit & Awards 2017 organized by Department of MNRE by Government of India, Department of MSME by Government of India and AICTE held at Chandigarh. Dr. Rohit Sarin (Chairman of Hotel Management Board of Studies by IKG PTU and Director, CTIHM) won the Excellent Principal for Hotel Management Institute in Punjab in the ceremony.
The award ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. MP. Poonia (Vice Chairman, AICTE), Dr. M.S. Manna (Director, AICTE), Prof. NK Goyal (President, CMAI Association of India) and Dr. Arun Kumar Grover (Vice Chancellor, Panjab University) while Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) and Dr. Rohit Sarin (Chairman of Hotel Management Board of Studies by IKG PTU and Director, CTIHM) received the prestigious award at the event.
CTIHM was conferred with this prestigious award after passing through rigorous survey & research. The students of the respective colleges were interviewed on the parameters including Hospitality service, Industry concern training, Innovative practical classes, placements and others.
(Dr. Rohit Sarin (Chairman of Hotel Management Board of Studies by IKG PTU and Director, CTIHM) exclaimed over receiving the award, he said, “At CTIHM our responsibility extends beyond the boundaries of the classroom and into the domain of creating pathways for students to realize their dreams. Our intensive academic studies, practical training and overall personality development will nurture our students for job opportunities not only in Hotels but also in number of other service sector outlets such as Hotels, Airlines, Cruise liners, Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, Bank and retail.”
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) and Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) congratulated all members of Hotel Management faculty for bringing glory to the CT Group. Recently, CTIHM ranked 2nd in India, 1st in Punjab amongst Top Hotel Management Colleges by Global Human Resource Development Centre with the prestigious title.
