Jalandhar 27 April (Jaswinder Azad)- The PG Department of History Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized a farewell party for the outgoing students of MA History. The chief guest of the event was the college Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra who gave his best wishes to the students of the outgoing class and urged them to work united for the development of country. The Head of the Department Dr. Suman Chopra welcomed the Principal and students. Dance, Song, Skit, Gidha and Bhangra items were presented by the students on this occasion. Navdeep Kaur and Harwinder Singh declared Miss. Farewell and Mr. Farewell, where as Jagdip Kaur was declared Miss Charming and Simranjit Kaur declared as Miss Performance. The occasion was witnessed by the students and the staff of the department. Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Dr. Karanbir Singh, Dr. Kulnaz Kaur acted as judges for the events. Prof. Sandeep Kumar and other staff members of the Department were also present on this occasion.
