Jalandhar 17 April (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar celebrated hostel night. It is an annual traditional at KMV that every year students of 2nd year bid a farewell to the final year. In the beginning Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lighted the lamp of knowledge. Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Dean, Resident Life & Warden Mrs. Paramjit welcomed Madam Principal with flowers on the occasion. All the members of the staff hostel were present on the occasion. Hostler Hira began the night with Ganesh Vandana after which Arundhati sang a melodies song. Navnidhi and group mesmerized everyone with their choreography. Rubi presented a colorful semi-classical dance which was followed by a pure classical dance presentation being rehearsed by students for over a month under the able guidance of Ms. Meenakshi from the Department of Dance. Komal & Gunjan gave fusion dance presentation. Harpreet also mesmerized the audience with her dance presentation. All the hostlers pledged to follow the teachings in the eighteen chapters (Adhayas) of Bhagvat Geeta. The final presentation of the evening was a modeling show by fashionably and beautifully attired girls. In the end Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi presented trophies to the students as a mark of warm fond remembrance from the Vidyalaya. It was an emotional moment for all.
