Jalandhar 19 April (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar makes regular efforts to promote out of classroom teaching in order to enhance the practical skills and broader the knowledge base of the students. In contribution of this practice PG Department of Commerce and Business Administration organized an Industrial visit to Reliance Industries (RIL), Hoshiarpur. Students of M.Com IV semester and BBA VI semester went for the visit. These students who were soon expected to join a profession were given practical exposure to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities practiced by the company to promote team spirit and sense of belongingness among non-supervisory staff. They were also exposed to the practical aspects of manufacturing process during their visit to the plant. They were also apprised about the various principles of management at actual work place. Expressing their delight the students said that the visit was highly informative and interesting. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the faculty and students for having organized such a fruitful excursion.
