Jalandhar 5 April (Jaswinder Azad)- The Department of Music, Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar organized a one day Musical workshop keeping the 'Gazal' form of music as the theme of the program. Prof. Dr. Hukam Chand, Dean Faculty, Visual and Performing Arts, MD University Rohtak was the Chief Guest for the program to share minute details regarding the art of Gazal music. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra provided a floral welcome to Dr. Hukam Chand and honored him with a souvenir. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, Dr. Kulwant Singh Sandhu, HOD Punjabi and Prof. S.S. Nagra were also present on the occasion. Dr. Buttar gave the vote of thanks to the Chief Guest for gracing the occasion which was also witnessed by Prof. Sukhdev Singh, HOD Music, Prof. Pavittar Singh, Prof. Daljit Singh while Mahi Kajla a student artist of the college also performed on the stage.
