Jalandhar 4 April (Jaswinder Azad)- At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar a psycho-fest is an annual feature which aims to promoting better mental and consequently physical health of both the students and the faculty. The fest was organized by the Department of Psychology under the guidance and mentorship of Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi. She was also the chief guest for the occasion and inaugurated the event with her blessings for the day-long fest. The fest consisted of many features ranging from personality test to I.Q. tests, attitude and Interest tests etc. It also provided the facility of counseling in which counselors successfully guided the students towards a safer & brighter future. The highlight of the event was however the mind-games engineered for enjoyment and relaxation. The students and teachers both gave enthusiastic response to the event.
Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi applauded the efforts of Dr. Radhika Gupta and Ms. Surbhi Sharma for helping and guiding the students who arranged the event. She also observed that such events went a long-way in determining one’s relationship to oneself and the society. They went a long way in helping young people known their talent and determine the right goals in life. She congratulated all those who had participated in the fruitful activity.
