Jalandhar 23 May (Jaswinder Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar’s student of BFA Applied Art Alka Yadav brought laurels by winning first prize at a State Level Competition. Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi organized ‘Shiv Kumar Batalavi Poster Kavita Muqabla’ in honour of the great Punjabi Poet Shiv Kumar Batalavi in which students from nook and corner of the State participated and exhibited their talent. S. Navjot Singh Sidhu, Minister of Local Bodies and Cultural Affairs, Punjab who graced the occasion as the chief Guest also appreciated the work of Alka Yadav and congratulated her on this glorious accomplishment. Principal Dr. Sucharita congratulated the aspiring artist on her victorious moment and motivated her to soar high in the realms of success by giving shape to her dreams.
