Jalandhar 12 May (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts G,M.T., Loharan and C.J.R. celebrated Mother’s Day with great pomp and show. Mothers of the children of Pre- School and Nursery of INNOKIDS were invited in the school premises on Mother’s Day. On this occasion, Dr. Pooja Kapoor was invited as Guest of the Day in G.M.T., and in C.J.R. dietician Dr. Meenu Wahi was the honourable guest. The program was initiated with Ganesh Vandana to gain blessings of the Almighty. Mothers were told to take care of their own health along with their kids. Dr. Pooja highlighted the health conditions amongst children like Anaemia and Obesity etc. Dietician Dr Meenu Wahi stressed the need of keeping in mind nutrients in food while preparing the tiffin boxes of the kids, for the over all physical and mental growth of the children. In addition to the conversation, vice Principal Ms Sharmila Nakra stressed that the mothers must have a lot of positive energy while preparing the food in addition to the cleanliness they must keep their thoughts positive. Primary Wing Incharge Ms. Harleen Gulria said that moral values must be inculcated by the efforts of the parents along with the school programs. A quiz competition was organised for the mothers. Gifts were presented to them. The information about the nutritious diet was also given to the mothers. They were advised to go for regular check-ups. A number of games were planned for the mothers. All mothers participated in the games enthusiastically. At the end Dr. Pooja Kapoor was felicitated by Incharge Ms. Gurmeet Kaur, Ms. Alka Arora, Ms. Harleen Gulria and Ms. Sharmila Nakra. Dietician Meenu Wahi was honoured by Ms. Nitika Kapoor, Incharge Innokids C.J.R.
