Phagwara 20 May (Jaswinder Azad)- A lecture on ‘Raise your voice’ and presentation on stress management was organized for students of class 12 at Kamla Nehru Junior college for Women, Phagwara on Saturday, May 20, 2017. College Principal Dr. Kiran Walia addressed the students on ‘Raise your voice’ and motivated the students to become empowered and responsible citizens. She talked about the need for girls to be confident and bold and stand up for what is right and what is wrong. On the occasion, Mr. Sandeep Walia gave a presentation on Stress management for the students. He talked about the various points that students need to keep in mind and talked about the importance of remaining stress free. The students of all streams of classes 12 attended the event. Proud of the achievement, Principal of the college Dr. Kiran Walia added that more than 20 students of the college secured above 80 per cent. She congratulated the students and the faculty members of junior college along with the parents of the achievers.
