Jalandhar 19 July (Gurkirat Singh)- In Eklavya school colour week was celebrated from 17th July to 19th July. On the first day an introduction related to colours was given in the classroom and red day was celebrated. Pre- Primary kids did various activities. Nursery kids danced on Red Capret. The students of LKG made hand-made butterflies. The students of UKG made Strawberries with Thumb Printing. Kids enjoyed the activities. Next day was yellow day. They brought yellow coloured food items such as poha, dhokla, mango & banana in their tiffin boxes. Next day blue day was celebrated. “Let the blue sky meet the blue sea and all is blue for a time”. Children played different games. LKG kids played the zig-zag game and they picked the blue blocks. Students of L.K.G. and U.K.G. class recited a poem ”Blue blue the sky is blue”.In classes various activities related to colours were done. Everybody enjoyed a lot. The Chairman of School Mr. J.K. Gupta said such kinds of day are very enjoyable for kids. The director of Eklavya School Mrs. Seema Handa, the Administartor Mrs. Arvinder Kaur and Principal Mrs. Dimpal Sharma appreciated the work done by the students & they said that the concepts introduced through activities are learnt better.
