Jalandhar 24 July (Gurkirat Singh)- The I.T. Forum of the P.G. Department of Computer Science of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized one day seminar on Ethical Hacking. Mr. Rajan Koholi, an alumnus of the College and Information Security & Cyber Crime Consultant, WIPRO appeared as the Resource Person. He acquainted the students with the following information:
Meaning of ethical hacking, types, how to save yourself against ethical hacking, future in the field of hacking, and requirements for starting one’s own ethical hacking practice etc.
Mr. Kohi further threw light on the revolution that the social media has brought about the society but this revolution is not unt9ouched by care and caution in its use.
Principal Dr. Sucharita remarked that since the modern youth cannot think of life without mobile phone, so its indispensable for them to know about ethical hacking. So, the seminar will be more fruitful for the young brigade. She further lauded the efforts of Ms. Roopali Sood, Head, Department of Computer Sc. and Mr. Jagmohan Mago, Incharge I.T. Forum for the success of the event.
