Orientation Week for Students of School of Management Studies and School of Business Studies from July 24 to July 29, 2017

Jalandhar 28 July (Jaswinder Azad)- An Orientation Week is being organised for students of School of Management Studies and School of Business Studies of Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus from July 24 to July 29, 2017. Many events and activities have been organised to provide the students opportunities to showcase their creativity, leadership abilities, communication skills and confidence. These included Collage Making competition, Treasure Hunt, Reasoning Ability and Aptitude Test and many more. The coordinators for Collage Making Competition were Ms. Kanika Chopra and Ms. Parul Nanda, Assistant Professors School of Management. Around 150 freshers participated in the competition. The theme for the collage making competition was India in 2020. The students displayed their imaginative acumen and farsightedness. They exhibited optimism in their thoughts and ideas and expressed that India would be able to establish itself as a crusader of world peace and harmony. The students came up with other wonderful ideas that the sacred river Ganges would be clean, the Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan would lead to a Clean India, India would march ahead on the path to peace, progress and development.
All the participants were awarded certificates of appreciation. The students also participated in Treasure Hunt competition. They also took part in Reasoning Ability and Aptitude Test. The test was conducted the see the real aptitude of students so as to guide them as per their potential. Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus welcomed the freshers and expressed that the induction programme is going to benefit the students a lot in becoming cofident and competent.
