CT Engineering students make Automated Feeder Robot System

Robot system is capable of feeding raw material to multiple sites
Jalandhar 7 June (Jaswinder Azad)- Robots have already surpassed human beings in calculation and memory, and to step ahead, the five brilliant students of CT Institute of Engineering, Management and Technology, have made a unique project of “Automated Feeder Robot System”.
The five namely Harsh Kumar, Ravi Ranjan, Sumit Kumar, Vidyanand Kumar and Vineet Arora, pursuing final year of B. Tech Mechanical Engineering have made a project in which the automated robot is capable of feeding raw material to multiple sites in outdoor fields. This project took them six months to complete with sincere efforts and intelligence.
Telling more about their project, Ravi Ranjan, one of the team members said, “We thought of submitting a different project as earlier we have seen students submitting cars, bikes etc. In this project, the robot takes raw material from control room and feed the required destination. It moves along the path defined by the black line on the ground and then automatically returns back to the control room following the same line and gets ready to perform the next task.”
Another team member named Harsh said, “The main use of this system is that it will save time and energy especially in the industries or fields. The robot will work according to the data feed system. The USP of this system is that it will get automatically charged. Our faculty especially our HOD, Mr. Amandeep Bansal and Assistant Professor Mr. Mandeep Singh have helped and guided a lot during the working of this robotic system.”
S. Charanjit S Channi, Chairman and Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director applauded the efforts of these brilliant students and said that such unique concepts are quite acceptable in the growing industries and with this approach, these students will bring revolutions in the market in near future. They congratulated the team and wished them best for their future.
