Jalandhar 17 November (Jaswinder Azad)- A student interactive session 'Badlav' on the 'Role of Youth in Nation building' was organised by Apeejay Education Society in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Model United Nations on 17 November in the Apeejay school auditorium. The session was presided over by Mr.Sandeep Dikshit, Spokesperson INC and Former MP which was attended by students from Apeejay college, Main school and Ramamandi branch. Principal Mr.Girish Kumar extended a warm welcome to Mr.Sandeep Dikshit, Former MP, Spokesperson, Indian National Congress, Mr.P.S Kahlon, District Attorney Jalandhar and Mr. Gautam Seth, President IGNMUN, Spokesperson Punjab Congress.
Mr. Dikshit in his address to students elaborated on the concept of nation building and highlighted the responsibility of Youth in the task of building a strong Nation.He engaged with students responding to their questions satisfactorily on subjects ranging from role of youth,politics as a career,GST bottleneck,women safety ,law and order,public education to Congress party',s future policies for the nation.The session which was a very informative and enriching experience for everyone concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Principal Mr.Girish Kumar where he stressed on the need for investing in students as reflected in the Apeejay ethos of holistic education.
