Jalandhar 5 November (Jaswinder Azad)- Budding poets of P.G. Department of English brought laurels to the department and college by bagging second position in Poetry Recitation Competition held in Doaba College. Ms. Anmolpreet Kaur of B.A II Elective English and Sonam Chauhan of B.A I Elective English recited their self - composed poems in the competition. Ms. Anmol Kaur recited a beautiful poem titled ' The Quintessential He' and Ms. Sonam Chauhan recited the poem' Hushed Reflections'.
Principal Dr. S.K. Arora felicitated the students for their accomplishment and encouraged them to achieve glorious heights in future. Prof. Salil Kumar Uppal, Head, P.G. Department of English congratulated the achievers for their sterling performance in the competition. Vice-Principal Prof. V.K.Sareen and Vice-Principal Prof. T. D. Saini gave their best wishes to the students.
