Kanya Maha Vidyalaya participates in 2-Day Career Guidance Fair Spark-2017

Jalandhar 21 December (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Autonomous and Heritage Institution participated in 2-Day career Guidance Fair Spark- 2017 organized by District Administration to provide guidance regarding the various avenues which lay bare in front of 10th and 12th pursuing students. K.M.V-the pioneer institution of women education which has been awarded as the heritage status by MHRD, Govt. of India has been only the institution in Guru Nanak Dev University to be awarded the Kaushal Kendre Skill Development Centre by the Govt. of India and so they had put up a stall to appraise students with the various B.Voc courses and other Skill Development courses offered by them. The students who are on the threshold of a new career found guidance provided to them to be very useful. At this juncture Dr. Madhumeet, Dean Student Welfare was invited to deliver talk during a technical session on the topic “Skill Development for Carrer Enhancement and Empowerment”. Her views were very incisive for all present. Dr. Madhumeet threw light on the various Skill Development Programs which can help hone the skills of the students. She referred to the spoken English classes, Foreign Languages School in which native teachers teach French, German etc, Moral Education Programs, School of competitive exams run by KMV to amount to skill development. KMVites also made dance presentation during the 2-Day Fest. Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV appreciated the District Administration for this laudable initiative. She also congratulated the KMV team behind the whole organization which includes Dr. Gurjot, Dr. Madhumeet, Dr. Updesh and Ms. Amarpreet Khurana.
