Farewell Party held at Kamla Nehru Junior College for Women

Jalandhar 24 February (Gurkirat Singh)- A very vibrant and colourful farewell party was organized for the outgoing +2 class students of Kamla Nehru Junior College for Women, Phagwara on Saturday at College Auditorium. Principal of the college Dr.Kiran Walia was the chief guest at the function while the event was organized under the aegis of Prof.Sandeep Walia, Dr.Rinka and Madam Manisha. Madam Manwinder and Dr. Rinka were the judges of various events. Speaking on the occasion, the judges awakened the outgoing students about the power of women and various aspects of life as well. They also motivated the girls to make substantial contributions in the development of the country. While blessing the outgoing students, Principal Dr. Kiran Walia encouraged them to scale heights in their careers while maintaining contact with their alma mater. She further motivated them to achieve every desire while remaining responsible citizens of the country. During the function, various games and events like modeling rounds were organized for the students of +2 classes. The shortlisted candidates then appeared in question answer round in which judges asked them various questions. The students of the college also presented various cultural items like Bhangra and Gidha which were highly enjoyed by the audiences. Principal of the college Dr. Kiran Walia distributed prizes to the winning students at last and gave wishes for their prosperous future. The students who were given various titles during the event were Ms. Nitisha (Miss KNCJW), Ms. Manjot (First runner up), Ms. Harsheen (Second Runner Up), Ms. Ritika (Best Smile), Ms. Prabhjot (Best Costume).
