Jalandhar 9 March (Jaswinder Azad)- On 8th March, 2018, International Women’s Day was celebrated at Trinity College, Jalandhar. Hardeep Kaur Bhawra, Excise and Taxation commissioner was the chief guest of the day. On this occasion, Rev Fr Peter, Rev Fr Johnson, Rev Sr Rita, Prof Rajinder, Prof Pratibha and all the faculty members of the college were present. Jasmine, a student of B.com Final year gave a warm swelcome to everyone and Rev Fr Peter gave a floral welcome to the chief guest. A play on social evils was presented on the stage. Mrs. Hardeep Kaur Bhawra congratulated the Trinity Family for organizing such a beautiful event and she emphasized the importance of women empowerment in all walks of life. On this auspicious occasion, Divya , a student of B.A, who is a merit holder in University was honoured. Shreya gave the vote of thanks to all the dignitaries. Grace and Nutun conducted the stage very well. The program concluded with National Antem.
