Jalandhar 31 March (Jaswinder Azad)- Students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar earned commendation by exhibiting their talent in ‘Umang’ an inter-college competition organized by Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala. In this competition, students from 24 colleges across the region participated out of which Apeejayites prominently earned positions in diverse categories. Students of the college participated in 16 items out of which they grabbed first position in seven items, second position in four items, third position in one item and one consolation prize. Talented students of the college secured first position in Quiz, Innovative Dress, Newspaper Making, Mimicry, Ad Mad Show, Debate and Calligraphy and second position in Face Painting, Programming, Web-Designing and Spell Bee Contest whereas E-Drawing got third position with a consolation prize in another category. The achievements of the college students added glory to its brightening pride.
Principal Dr. Sucharita wholeheartedly congratulated the proud makers and wished them luck to soar high in the realms of success. She also commended the efforts of the dedicated faculty members who guided the participants to accomplish this victory.
