More than 400 students participate in ‘Evento-Fiesta’ at CT
Jalandhar 18 April (Jaswinder Azad)- CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur campus organised an Inter CT fest ‘Evento-Fiesta’ in which the students from all CT Institutes participated in different events. More than 400 students from all departments of CT Group, Maqsudan, CT Group Shahpur and CT University, Ludhiana participated. The fest had various cultural and creative events like Group Dance, Solo Dance, Skit, Collage making, Rangoli and literary events like Elocution and Debate. The overall trophy was lifted by CT Institute of Higher Studies, Shahpur campus whereas the first Runners Up trophy was bagged by CT Institute of Engineering, Management and Technology (CTIEMT, Shahpur).
Akashdeep, a student from Journalism department, Shahpur said, “I took part in Elocution and it was such a wonderful experience and I also bagged first position. Such breaks before exams are always entertaining and make us stress free. All my fellow companions were actually very good and we had a gala time during the fest."
“Evento-Fiesta witnessed a different variety of talents in all the students. They did a great job by putting so many efforts. I congratulate all the winners and I even congratulate all the participants because appearing on stage is not always easy. The students were full of creativity and zeal.” said, Managing Director, Mr. Manbir Singh. On the occasion, Vice Chairman Mr. Harpreet Singh, Mrs. Seerat Singh, Co-Chairperson Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi, Cultural Officer Mr. Davinder Singh were present during the occasion.
