Jalandhar 21 April (Jaswinder Azad)- The earth Day was celebrated at DIPS MEHATPUR From classes Nursery to X took part in it. To acknowledge the students about the importance of the day, a short speech was given in morning assembly highlighting the same .The students were also told about the origin and history of earth day through speech .Students were also notified about the ways to protect mother earth from pollution and other impurities. Trees were planted by the students of classes Nursery to V. Poster making activity on topic global warming was held for classes VI to X. Poster making was organised to create awareness among students about the earth day. In the end principal JYOTI SHARMA addressed the students and guided them to keep our environment and surroundings clean to lead a healthier life. Chairman of DIPS Institutions S. Gurbachan Singh also sent his best wishes to the students.
