Jalandhar 27 April (Jaswinder Azad)- It was an emotional moment at the pain of separation – the Farewell Party of the PG Department of History, Lyallpur Khalsa College, was a memorable get together of students and teachers. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra was the chief guest on this occasion. In a very inspirational speech, he inspired the students to work hard and achieve their goals. His mesmerizing words struck an immediate cord with the students. Dr. Suman Chopra, Head of the Department, in her thanks giving speech, expressed her happiness for arranging such a colorful cultural programme. Avinash Kaur and Harjeet Singh were selected as Miss Farewell and Mr. Farewell respectively. Jatinder Kaur was awarded with the title of Miss Punjaban. Jaspreet Kaur was selected as student of the year. Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Dr. Karanbir Singh, Sandeep Kaur and R.P. Sandeep Kumar Bhagat were also present on the occasion.
