• Tuition fee of the last year (2017) would be applicable to students applying under EDB
Jalandhar 18 May (Jaswinder Azad)- American universities guide students to take early decision to join university under Early Decision Benefit (EDB) program. Following the same pattern, Lovely Professional University (LPU) also commenced its unique EDB program in the year 2013. Students enrolled under this unique program are doubly benefitted by paying lower tuition fee as that of the last year (2017), and also get higher scholarship. Moreover, students also secure their seats for the programs of their individual preferences. A later thought for admission not only devoid a student of admission in preferred subject but also makes him/her to pay higher fee as per the year-2018. This year also LPU has implemented EDB programme 2018. Admissions under LPU’s Early Decision Benefit (EDB) Program are closing on 31st May.
Inspiring students to get advantage of EDB, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal says: “For the benefit of meritorious students, we always think in consonance with top global educational institutions. I wish that financial constraints should never be an obstacle in the development of a student. In this regard, the introduction of EDB has helped many thousand students in previous years, and I am hopeful that its implementation this year will further benefit thousands of other students.”
One of the last year’s EDB applicants from Punjab Neha Rana, who is presently pursuing her English Literature programme at LPU, holds: “As I have availed EDB, I know it is a great opportunity. It is bringing awareness among Indian students about their freedom to choose and secure study program of their choice at an institution of their dreams. More over EDB is also benefitting students to pursue their studies at an affordable fee-structure.” Students applying under EDB will have to submit their applications before cut-off date that is on May 31, 2018.
