Jalandhar 3 May (Jaswinder Azad)- Students of CT Public School, Maqsudan marked World Press Freedom Day, emphasizing the importance of freedom of press for developing the nation and informing the citizens with true facts. Students were informed that it is a date to encourage and develop initiatives in favor of press freedom, and to assess the state of press freedom worldwide. Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions urged nations to ensure the freedom and safety of journalists and to promote the right to information and freedom of speech.
