Jalandhar 30 May (Jaswinder Azad)- KMV Collegiate Sen.Sec. School Dept. of Punjabi organized various competitions for all streams of 10+1 and 10+2. The Arts, Science and Commerce students participated in the competition of calligraphy, Story writing and poetry writing. They used the flights of the fancy to express their feelings and experiences with the Reeder in their original compositions. Ms. Kiranjot Kaur from 10+2 Non Med and Ms Memona Akhtar from 10+2 Med jointly won the first position in the calligraphy competition. Ms. Manpreet Kaur and Ms. Sahibpreet Kaur 10+2 Medical jointly won the second prize. The third prize was bagged jointly by Ms Navya from (10+1 Comm) along with Ms. Rajni Devi and Harman Kaur from 10+1 Arts. In the story writing category Ms. Randeep (10+1 Non-Med) came first while Ms. Harleen Kaur (10+1 Med) and Ms. Meghdeep Kaur won the second and third prize respectively. In Poetry writing Ms Aditi (10+1 Med) came first, Ms. Mannat (10+2 Comm) and Ms. Gursimran Kaur (10+1 Med) won the Second and third prize respectively. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated all the participants and especially the winners of the various competitions. She exhorted them to participate in creative competitions in future as well to further chisel their skills. She also congratulated the Department of Punjabi for successful organization of the meaningful event.
