Jalandhar 24 May (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Jalandhar’s B.Voc management and Secretarial Practices of Kaushal Kendra organized a One-Day workshop of Good and Services Tax (GST). The resource person for this workshop was CA Anirudh Sareen from K.Sareen and Associates, Jalandhar. With the levy of GST on July 1st 2017 the retaliation of common masses, industrialists and dealers is evedent from constant disturbance in Parliament sessions, newa updates and bandh calls. All these appresensions were addressed by Mr. Sareen in a very lucid and comprehensive manner. He gave conceptual understanding of various terms and issues and GST giving examples of various local dealers and industries. He acquainted the students with CGST, UTGST, SGST, IGST, compensation Cess and various rates of GST at state and central level. He addressed various querries of participants very effectively. The Principal of the college Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi extended her gratitude towards the resource person and said that this workshop will help to widen the knowledge horizon of all students. Dr. Gopi Sharma, Director, Kaushal Kendra, Dr Neeraj Maini, Dr, Sabina Batra, Ms, Dimple, Ms, Manpreet, Ms, Ritu and Ms. Alisha were also present on the occasion.
